A velvety date-and-carob base crowned with a subtly sweet tahini swirl. Naturally sweet, no oven required.
Line an 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) pan with parchment, leaving an overhang. Process the dates, oats, almond flour, carob powder and salt until finely chopped and starting to form a sticky ball. Add plant milk a tablespoon at a time if it's too dry.
Press the base evenly and firmly into the pan and put it in the freezer.
Whisk the tahini, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla and salt until smooth.
Pour the tahini mixture over the chilled base and drag a knife or skewer through for a marbled swirl.
Freeze for 30 to 45 minutes, or refrigerate 2 to 3 hours, until firm.
Lift out by the parchment and slice into 9 or 12 squares.
